With effect from the first Draft Statutory Instrument published all new Draft Statutory Rules of Northern Ireland awaiting approval will be published in full text form on the Internet via the Her Majesty's Stationery Office Web Pages. They will remain on the Web Pages until such time as they are superseded by a Statutory Instrument or until they are withdrawn.
The aim is that all Draft Statutory Rules of Northern Ireland should be published on the Internet simultaneously with or, at least within 24 hours of their publication in printed form. Any Draft SR which is especially complex typographically may, however, take longer to prepare though it is expected that these cases should be few in number. To assist in meeting this timetable, some Draft SRs may be published as a single large file. This will be indicated in the list of Draft Statutory Rules of Northern Ireland.
